Mickey Strong

LEAD MINISTER

Mickey became lead minister at WCC on March 22nd, 2022. He and his wife, Julie, have 3 children - Cayden, Joslynn & Madison. He has a Bachelors in Biblical Studies and a Minor in Christian Counseling.

Favorite movies: Gladiator, Spiderman: Into the Spider Verse, and basically any movie involving sports  
Fun things I enjoys:  Hanging out with family!
Sports I enjoy playing: Basketball, bowling, softball, and basically anything I can still play
Favorite teams: Indianapolis Colts, IU, Notre Dame, Butler, Indiana Pacers, and Cincinnati Reds
Something that inspires me (funny): My daughter asks me everyday, “What is God doing today?” I find it funny that she wants to know what God is up to, and I also find it very inspiring and realized I need to be asking that everyday also.
Something that inspires me (serious): Watching the Church be the hands and feet of Jesus!

Andrew Fisher

                                Youth Minister

Andrew came on staff on March 4th, 2018. He and his wife, Laura, have 2 children - Selah and Judah. He received his Bachelor of Youth and Family Ministry from Central Christian College of Bible.

Favorite Bible verses: Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
Colossians 1:28-29: “We proclaim Him, admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom, so that we may present every man complete in Christ. For this purpose also I labor, striving according to His power, which mightily works within me.”
1 Timothy 2:15: “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed accurately handling the word of truth.”
Fun things I enjoy: Spending time with my family.
Favorite sports teams: Indiana Hoosiers, Indiana Pacers, Indianapolis Colts, Cincinnati Reds
Something that inspires me (funny): Watching my daughter grab her little stool to try to get something off of a high shelf.
Something that inspires me (serious): Watching the students when they are on fire for Jesus, and they want to serve Him.

Liz Richardson

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY DIRECTOR

Liz has been on staff since November 1st, 2017. She and her husband, Roger, have 3 daughters - Lily, Laina and Autumn. She  has an Associates degree in Science for Nursing from IPFW.

Favorite Bible verses: 1 Timothy 4:12  "Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity.
2 Timothy 1:7  "For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind."
Ephesians 2:8-10  "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith- and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- not by works, so that no one can boast.  For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."
Fun things I enjoy: I really enjoy going on adventures with my kids.  We love to visit museums and go fossil hunting.  I love to play board games and card games with friends and family, especially Settlers of Catan and Dixit…just don’t ask me to play Euchre!
 Something that inspires me (funny): The unbridled enthusiasm of a young kid.  They don’t care about keeping up a “cool image” or looking goofy in front of their peers.  They just want to have fun and try their best!
 Something that inspires me (serious): Hearing the personal stories of others who have endured trials in their lives and come out the other side, faith intact, and ready to serve God’s kingdom.

Tara Bower

SECRETARY

    Tara has been on staff since May of 2009. She and her husband, Bob, have 4 adult children and 6 grandchildren.

Favorite Bible verses: Isaiah 41:10  “I’ve picked you. I haven’t dropped you. Don’t panic. I’m still with you. There’s no need to fear for I’m your God. I’ll give you strength. I’ll help you. I’ll hold you steady, keep a firm grip on you.”  
Isaiah 43:1-3  "But now, O Jacob, listen to the LORD who created you. O Israel, the one who formed you says, 'Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. Paul Kern

Paul and his wife, Misty, have 2 children - Evan and Josie.

John Morrison

John and his wife Peg have 4 adult children and 15 grandchildren.

Favorite Bible verse: James 1:12  “Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him."

Roger Richardson

         Roger and his wife Liz (our Children's Ministry Director), have 3 children - Lily, Laina and Autumn.
