Liz Richardson, Children’s Ministry Director

My family:

My husband Roger and I were married in 2007, and we have three lovely daughters, Lily, Laina, and Autumn.

Education:

IPFW:  Associates degree in science for nursing, registered nurse

Favorite movie:

My favorite vintage movie is the Princess Bride, but I’m a sucker for super hero movies!

Favorite Bible verses:

1 Timothy 4:12  Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity.

2 Timothy 1:7  For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.

Ephesians 2:8-10  For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith- and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- not by works, so that no one can boast.  For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Fun things I enjoy:

I really enjoy going on adventures with my kids.  We love to visit museums and go fossil hunting.  I love to play board games and card games with friends and family, especially Settlers of Catan and Dixit…just don’t ask me to play Euchre!

Something that inspires me (funny):

The unbridled enthusiasm of a young kid.  They don’t care about keeping up a “cool image” or looking goofy in front of their peers.  They just want to have fun and try their best!

Something that inspires me (serious):

Hearing the personal stories of others who have endured trials in their lives and come out the other side, faith intact, and ready to serve God’s kingdom.
