Holy Ground

When Moses encountered God at the burning bush, God said “take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is Holy Ground.”  Moses had an encounter with God and a conversation with God.

Coming up on Saturday, Nov. 14 at 6:30  at the Warren church of Christ, we are going to have an event called “Holy Ground”. This event will be a time for you to focus on two things:
1) Encountering God
2) Conversing with God

This night will be a self-guided prayer event that will lead you to different stations set up within the sanctuary where you will receive instructions for scriptures to read and ideas for prayer.

Holy Ground is a family friendly prayer event.  You are invited to bring your whole family so that together, you can come into God’s presence, learn more about prayer, and pray together as a family.  Child care will also be provided for preschoolers.

If you want to come by yourself as an individual, that will be fine too. We have not included intimidating barriers; we will not ask you to pray out loud or read scripture to others.  Holy Ground will be a very rich experience for you to commune with God and to have a deeper connection with Him in prayer.

Prayer is so important!  Please consider coming to Holy Ground Saturday November 14th to encounter God.
